The Last of My Book Suggestions

I PROMISE!! This is the last you'll hear from me on book suggestions (at least for a little while).

THESE are books on my "To Read" list (meaning: books I have not read yet) - - but you Rasmussens may have read them all and maybe even more than once! So, I apologize ahead of time. :-)

The African Queen - Forester

Founding Mothers - Cokie Roberts

North and South - Gaskill

Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! - Schlitz

The Wednesday Wars - Schmidt (reading now)

Scarlett Pimpernell - (seen movie, not read book)

The Hero and the Crown - McKinley

Courage of Sarah Noble - Dalgliesh

The Railway Children - E. Nesbit

The House of Sixty Fathers - DeJong

Just So Stories - Kipling

Peace Like a River - ?

AND, the book I told you about the Chinese ladies is called "Wild Swans" by Jung Chang

And, again, my vote is for the Econmics in One Lesson book.

Happy Reading!

JULIA

Oh, I LOVE the Scarlet Pimpernel--sooo good! Andrea's never read it either, and I wouldn't mind reading it again. I watched a BBC production of Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskill (I think that was her too anyway) and really liked it, so North and South I'm all for too. The rest look interesting as well. I'm all for any of them.
