Brian Sykes (geneticist who studies Mitochondrial Eve): "I have in my hand the end of the thread which connects me to my ancestral mother way at the back. I've read it and we love it around here.
This is probably one of my absolute favorite books--I've read it three times, and the other day I was thinking it was time for a fourth.
